CONSTANTINE "Shredcore" CD
7HARD Konstantinos Kotzamanis is a guitar’s virtuoso who plays in several groups such as Nightrage, Descending, Mystic Prophecy and now with Constantine. With such a title “Shredcore” you mustn’t have any doubt on the style of the album. it is an instrumental album where shredding is at first place. All throught the album Konstantinos shows us what he is able to do with guitars, whatever a six or seven strings guitars. He is surrounded by Bob Katsionis from Firewind and from Frank Huber (former Valley’s Eve). As we’re talking about shredding we’re talking about rapidity of course. He uses different techniques such as arpeggios, sweeping, tapping etc… some passages are done with dissonant guitars, heavy and slow ones other times. Nice melody lines appear here and there but it is not Konstantinos’ priority. His goal his to use technique, make combination of rhythmic, shredding and show to us his technicity and to make fast soli. You can find some keyboards soli mix with guitars and time to time the guitars take the front place and vice versa. The album has the benefit of a good production which let’s heard the sound of each instrument. www.myspace.com/constantine3000
