Griffen has released this year its first album “Life-A Way To Die” after having done two demos. The group exists since 2006. The line up is Jörgen Söderberg (Metalorgy, ex. 32GO) on vocals, Tomi Peltonen (ex. Torch, Madigan) and Stefan Törnblom (Metalorgy, ex. Madigan,  Harri Tuovila (Vita Vatten, ex. Pink Panther) on bass and Kristian Huotari (ex. Torch, SCAAR) on drums. The style of the group is solid hard rock melodic which takes its inspiration from the 80s, with some metal influences. The songs of this album are powerful on the musical side as well as on the vocals side, besides it has the benefit of a good production. The songs are well written. The musicians control perfectly their instruments and the group has a solid rhythmic section and the two guitarists are serious in their role and the sound is very good. The riffs are melodic and strong and the soli are very good one. the vocalist, Jorgen Söderberg has a strong and powerful voice.
For those who already know the group, they will find the songs of the demos.
In the vein of groups such as Dio, Talisman, Jorn….
to be short a nice melodic hard rock album to listen.
