The Canadian group Savage Blade has released its album “We Are The Hammer”. The style of the group is traditional heavy metal, with influences with groups such as Saxon, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden, amongst again. The texts are well written, well balanced.
Some compositions have catchy refrains and melodic ones like “We Are The Hammer” or Willow Run” and the excellent “Magic Of The Night”, which is for me the best song of this album. The vocalist has a high pitched voice which perfectly suits to the songs. The musicians control perfectly their instruments. The album contains classic songs with modern sound and a modern production.
It is really a success and I hope that the group will continue on that way.
