Sidehorn Records 2009
Garden Of is a progressive rock/metal with influences which are coming from groups such as Dream Theater, Fates Warning, Rush, Yes but also which takes its influences into jazz, folk, classic and progressive of course. We cannot say that these guys aren’t professional, on the contrary, they possess a certain technique. The compositions are well structured musically and technically and have the benefit of good arrangements. Behind the singer the guitarist plays original guitars lines, sometimes a little too much technique which might not be appreciated by people who just like guitar and music like the passage at guitars on the second track which will seen long and might bored some of you but may be not … so to be short it is a complex album which will take you some times to get in it, but once you are in, you appreciate it. Just a message to the group: do not be afraid to take more risks musically speaking especially on the guitars level when you hear the capacities of the guitarists.
