“Strange Cousins From The West” is the ninth album from the American blues/rock group Clutch. The group adds to these styles some stoner and heavy rock or even southern rock parts. I admit not knowing this group before having this album in my hands. I’m sure a lot of blues/rock fans will pay attention to this album as it well done, without any pretention just some good songs to listen so do not expect anything new in this “Strange Cousins …” The voice of the singer goes well with the style of the songs. The musicians are rather good and control their instruments.
One of the masterpieces of this album is the song "50,000 Unstoppable Watts", at least it is one of those that I like the most.
