Metal Heaven/MurMur Promotion 2009
Fair Warning is not a young group but they had split in 2000 to come back in 2006. The style of “Aura” is nothing more nothing less that what you’ll find in the others, good hard rock. You’ll find Tommy Heart at vocals, Helge Engelke at guitars, Ule Ritgen at the bass and CC Behrens at the drums. The songs are melodic on the vocals and the musical sides. “Aura” is a good balance between fast (Fighting For Your Love/ Another Perfect Day) and slow songs (Holding On), even if there are a lot of ballads. Each instrument does well its work and no doubt that these guys know their work. “It Takes More” has a really nice guitar solo. The song “Hey Girl” is very certainly one of the most beautiful song of this “Aura”. It’s a good album to discover and to listen to.
