Pervade Productions/Bernett Records 2009
No need to introduce Christophe Marquilly (ex-Stocks). He comes back on the front scene with an album “Rien N’est Joué” with a rock/folk sound and also a little blues and southern rock sounds. It is clear that he controls perfectly his guitar ….and it is a nice also to listen but far from hard rock and metal. The lyrics are full of feelings, of ambiences and nice to listen. Most of the songs are mid tempo and ballads and I would like to have some fastest ones. The principal is that Christophe Marquilly stays with his first influences that please him and his fans. His fans will probably appreciate this album and maybe he will have some more others.
