Silentrain has released “Wrong Way To Salvation”. the style of the finnish group is a powerful, energetic and melodic power metal. It is maybe the first album of the group under the name Silentrain but the group was named before The Sanatorium then Dunces, they are not little newcomers on the scene. Some tracks make me think to Thunderstone, Powerquest, Sonata Arctica even Kamelot (principally in some vocals performances). The tracks are relatively fast like « Until You Break », « Sick Of… », « With Pain And Sorrow », others are more mid tempos such as « No More » or « Ride The Devil », without forgetting the ballads
« The Road Of Destiny » and « Eternity » which ends the album. The all of it form a well balanced album with which you do not get bored. Vocally Marko has a powerful and strong voice all keeping a undeniable melodic side. Musically the tracks are powerful and have the benefit of good orchestrations and good musical arrangements. The keyboards are very present and give very beautiful melodies bringing sometimes a little progressive touch to the tracks. It is a first solid album made by good professionals.
