Gamma Ray has just released a double cd “Hell Yeah !!! The Awesome Foursome ». this double album is a live recorded in Montreal in 2006. The public was well present at this concert …such a long time that the group was expected on the American ground !
This double cd trace the carreer of the group at the exception of the very last one released after this concert. If on the set list site there is not much to say, the choice being good, I find the sound of this live sometimes limit … especially for Kai Hansen’s voice, that I find sometimes a little too much in the background. As well the drums are sometimes put too much affront … However the musicians are well at place, controlling their instruments and are energetic and give a gig at the length of all hope. The problem puts aside, it is an excellent gig to listen.
