Evarest is a power/heavy melodic metal group coming from the Czech Republic. This is the first demo of the group and an album “Fear” should be pretty soon released at Farvahar Records in the United States. It is a female vocalist Eva who leads in a master’s hand the group; it is rather rare for this style of metal that it should have been pointed out… Eva has a powerful voice, well at place and rather melodic. The three tracks are powerful and melodic, with guitars soli but also keyboards ones. The musicians control their instruments and ensure plainly their instrumental parts. The compositions are well structured with good arrangements and good instrumental but also vocals melodic lines. The most successful track of this demo is without any doubt, at least for me, the last one “Hero’s Fate” with well put rhythmic changes, well done melodies, whatever they come from the keyboards or the guitars, without forgetting the vocals, well at place and as powerful.
The three tracks let presage good things to come for the group and it is with impatience that I expect the next work, that is to say the release of the album “Fear”!
